  • Is the fee for physical therapy service covered by my insurance?

Engaging Physical Therapy, LLC is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not directly bill insurance companies. Some insurance companies may offer out-of-network therapy benefits and reimburse you for some or all of your PT services with us. It is recommended that you call your insurance provider to review your specific benefits. An itemized bill can be provided to our patients at the end of the treatment plan to submit to their insurance for reimbursement.

Physical therapy services are typically Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) eligible.

  • What is the benefit of Engaging Physical Therapy as a physical therapy provider?

We offer direct hands-on care with an experienced physical therapist trained in using multiple therapy approaches—including hippotherapy where appropriate—combined with patient education, and an individualized home exercise program.

This multifaceted approach can produce more functional results with fewer visits and create financial savings in the long term as traditional insurance models frequently require increased time and money (co-pays and deductibles) to achieve a patient’s goals. A large portion of the value in our approach to physical therapy comes from direct treatment with a very experienced physical therapist at all times providing both treatment and education.

  • What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept personal checks, cash, and Venmo.

Please contact us if you need assistance finding alternative funding for physical therapy services.

There are options for both pediatric and adult patients seeking funding for physical therapy that we can help direct you to depending on your age and diagnoses.
